Monday Morning Student Assemblies
Every other Monday morning we start off with our student assesmblies. We go over school announcements, flag salute, school rules, our 3 signals for bullying and our school pledge.
Please help your child memorize MPE's pledge:
I pledge today to do my best in reading, math, and all the rest.
I promise to obey the rules, in my class and in our school.
I'll respect myself and others too.
I'll expect the best in all I do.
I am here to learn all I can, to try my best and be all I am.
Anti-Bullying Signals
Our students wear their MPE Anti-Bullying shirts every Monday - they can wear their white and red shirt or their blue "Stomp Out Bullying Shirt". School shirts can be purchased from our school's PTA.
The Anti-Bullying Signals for our students are the following:
1. Stop
2. Walk Away
3. Tell an Adult
Traffic Safety
We'd like to remind the community that MPE has a staff member assisting all our students during the drop off time with valet service. This is to help the flow of traffic and safety of our students. We will have a staff member from 7:45 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. to help open the door and help your child exit the vehicle. There is no parking at Saybrook Park at any time for school business. Remember to always use the curbside to pick up and drop off at all times of the school day. If you have any questions please contact the Principal at (323) 721-3305.
